山西PECC副主任、秘书长刘俊平被世界华人协会、中国现代史学会、中国专家学者协会授予“和谐社会建设突出贡献奖”。2007年10月1日，刘俊平出席了在北京人民大会堂召开的“迎接2008——和谐中国论坛暨和谐社会建设突出贡献人物国庆座谈会”，9月30日上午举行了隆重的开幕式及表彰活动，国家领导人及部委领导人出席并接见了各界与会代表，之后举行了和谐社会建设先进任务世界报告会及“中华和谐钟”的发起、启动、签约仪式。会议期间，刘俊平与参会代表一起登上天安门城楼，观看国庆58周年国庆联欢。
